Terms and Conditions

Welcome!

We encourage you to read the terms and conditions outlining the responsibilities of guests using our property. We want to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests during their stay.

➢ General information

  1. The property provides short-term accommodation services.
  2. Using the services of our property constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  3. The terms and conditions apply to all guests of the property.

For safety reasons, SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED inside the apartment/cottage.

1. Only persons registered at the time of booking may use the property. If a greater number of persons are found to be occupying/staying at the property than were declared during booking, the Landlord may demand payment for additional guests or may terminate the agreement with the guest without any refund.

2. The properties are rented on a per-day basis, where the day begins at 15:00 on the day of arrival and ends at 10:00 on the day of departure.

By individual arrangement, for an additional fee of 100 PLN, early check-in (up to 2 hours earlier) or late check-out (up to 2 hours later) is possible. To arrange this, the Guest should contact ApartCottage in advance at +48 694 700 800.

3. At check-in, the Guest is required to present a valid photo ID. At check-in, the Guest is required to sign a declaration accepting liability for any damage to the property.

4. Leaving the apartment/cottage after 10:00 without prior notice and approval entitles ApartCottage to charge a contractual penalty of 100 PLN per commenced hour until 12:00.

5. At check-in, a refundable deposit is required to cover any potential damage or destruction during your stay: 1,000 PLN for apartment rental, 500 PLN for cottage rental. The deposit is payable in cash and is returned at check-out after the property has been inspected.

6. Persons occupying/staying at the property are financially liable for any damage, vandalism or destruction of the property’s equipment and on the private grounds belonging to it.

7. We are not responsible for any interruptions by water or electricity suppliers. However, in the event of any failure or problems during the use of the property, please contact us – we always try to resolve any issue as quickly as possible so as not to disrupt our guests’ stay.

8. We are not responsible for items and money left in the property. Responsibility for personal belongings lies with the person renting the property. Please take care of your valuables.

9. If a Guest leaves personal belongings in the apartment/cottage after check-out and requests that they be sent back, the Guest will be charged a flat fee of 140 PLN for storage and handling of the shipment, and is required to pay the delivery costs to their specified address in advance.

10. Items left in apartments/cottages are stored for 30 days from the date of discovery. After 30 days, uncollected items will be disposed of.

11. In the event of early departure or failure to arrive at the property for reasons beyond the Guest’s control, payment for the unused period is non-refundable.

12. The accommodation fee does not include guest insurance or cover for injuries sustained; ApartCottage is not liable for any damages or damage to property.

13. The accommodation fee does not include:
13.1. Additional linen and towel changes (20 PLN per person per towel change)
13.2. Additional cleaning (150 PLN per additional cleaning during the stay)

14. The services referred to in point 12 are provided at the Guest’s explicit request.

15. The Guest is entitled to request a free towel change every 8 days of stay in the apartment/cottage. In such a case, the Guest should notify ApartCottage by SMS or phone.

16. Please report to ApartCottage any damage or defects that occur during the use of the property.

17. Every time the Guest leaves the property, they should, for safety reasons, turn off the lights, switch off electrical appliances and check that the doors and windows are locked.

18. Bringing in explosive or flammable materials is strictly prohibited.

19. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00.

20. In the event that police intervention is required, ApartCottage may immediately terminate the agreement without a refund. ApartCottage does not cover the costs of police intervention.

21. If a Guest significantly disturbs the peace and wellbeing of neighbours and fails to comply with generally accepted standards of social conduct, ApartCottage reserves the right to terminate the Guest’s stay and is not obliged to refund payment for the unused period.

22. ApartCottage may terminate the agreement with immediate effect and without a refund in the event of non-compliance with the terms and conditions.

23. Guests are required to keep the key to the property with due care. If a Guest loses the keys, they are obliged to cover the resulting costs. The one-time call-out fee for ApartCottage in this matter is 200 PLN, plus the costs associated with replacing and purchasing the lock cylinder.

24. The Guest may not hand over the key to the apartment/cottage to third parties.

25. In the event of an unjustified call-out of ApartCottage staff to the apartment/cottage, ApartCottage may charge the Guest a contractual penalty of 200 PLN per call-out.

26. Immediately upon receiving the keys to the apartment/cottage, the Guest should report any observed defects or damage by sending a standard SMS or a WhatsApp message.

27. At the Guest’s request, ApartCottage will provide all necessary instructions, including those relating to the operation of selected electrical appliances forming part of the apartment/cottage equipment.

28. The Guest may not rearrange the furniture or household and electronic appliances.

29. The Guest is required to maintain the apartment in the same condition as at the beginning of the stay.

30. The Guest is financially liable for any damage or destruction of the furnishings and technical equipment in the apartment/cottage, unless the damage results from normal wear and tear.

31. In the event that the apartment/cottage is left in a state of particular disorder, especially after a party, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee. The amount of this fee will be determined in advance, based on the estimated additional working time of the cleaning staff.

32. One parking space on site is included in the price of the stay. If you need more parking spaces, please contact us before booking.

33. These terms and conditions constitute an agreement between the parties, binding from the moment of check-in. In the event of disputes, an amicable resolution is sought. If no agreement is reached between the parties, the dispute will be resolved by a court.

34. The Guest may submit a complaint regarding their booking or stay by sending a request to manager.apartcottage@gmail.com or submitting it in writing to the owner. The complaint should include the Guest’s full name, date of stay and a description of the situation. Complaints are handled within 14 days of receipt, and the response is provided in the same form in which the complaint was submitted, unless the Guest indicates a different preferred method of contact.
